Joseph Ayre Obituary, Death – On Wednesday, a fatal head-on collision that took place in North Strabane claimed the life of a driver who was originally from Washington County. The incident took place in North Strabane. According to the information that was provided by Washington County Coroner Tim Warco, the emergency room at Canonsburg Hospital is where 37-year-old Joseph Neil Ayre Jr. of Avella was pronounced dead.
Ayre was a resident of Avella. It was stated that the accident took place on Thomas Road at roughly 8:45 in the morning. Warco claims that Ayre was the sole person in the automobile when it collided with a vehicle that was traveling in the opposite way near the intersection of Springdale Road. The other vehicle was traveling west on Springdale Road. The vehicle was moving in a southerly direction when we saw it.
Ayre violated a legal requirement by not wearing a seat belt during the length of the collision that he was involved in. It has not yet been determined what caused the death of the individual; this is one of the outstanding questions. The North Strabane Township Police Department is in charge of the investigation, and the Pennsylvania State Police Reconstruction Unit is providing them with support.
