Jillian Peterson Death, Obituary – The identity of the pedestrian who was walking on eastbound Highway 178 in Lake Isabella on December 16 when they were struck by a vehicle and later died from their injuries has been revealed. Jillian Nicole Peterson, 39, of Weldon, was reportedly walking in traffic lanes on eastbound 178, east of Patterson Lane, at 5:45 p.m., when she was hit by a vehicle driven by Glenda Williams at a speed of 60 miles per hour, according to the authorities.

Peterson was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Williams has been charged with driving under the influence. Peterson, who was in critical condition, was transported to the hospital. In response to a hit-and-run collision that occurred in the Lake Isabella region on Friday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol was dispatched to the area.

According to the information provided by the California Highway Patrol, the incident took occurred on December 16 at approximately 4:55 p.m. on Highway 178 east of Patterson Lane. When the authorities arrived at the incident, they found a woman who had been struck and killed by a car when they arrived at the scene. The victim was reportedly wearing dark clothing and walking in the traffic lanes on westbound Highway 178 when she was struck by a vehicle.

This information comes from the California Highway Patrol. Onyx resident Glenda Williams, who was 73 years old at the time of the accident, was moving at a speed of sixty miles per hour. The officers claim that Williams did not see the woman who was walking in the road and that he then fled the scene of the collision after it occurred.
