James Kuang Death, Obituary – James Kuang, a resident of Fremont who was 50 years old, has been identified as the person who passed away by the coroner’s office in Contra Costa County. On Tuesday, Kuang was driving his vehicle on State Highway 4 close to Pittsburg when it was struck by a car going in the opposite direction.
On Tuesday, approximately 11:05 a.m., it was reported that someone was driving west in the eastbound lanes of Highway 4 at Railroad Avenue. The report was made by a witness. This report was initially brought to the attention of the California Highway Patrol. A Honda Accord and a Dodge Durango were involved in a collision that occurred head-on, which resulted in the accident.
After the initial collision, the Honda was later involved in more collisions with a Toyota and a tanker truck. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that Kuang, the driver of the Honda, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, whereas a passenger in his vehicle was taken to the hospital with significant injuries. The driver of the Dodge tried to elude the police in Pittsburg, but they were able to track him down and arrest him.

The driver of the tanker truck did not disclose any injuries to the CHP officials, while the driver of the Toyota and an infant passenger in that vehicle were both sent to a hospital following the crash.
