Cris Garcia Obituary, Cris Garcia has reportedly passed away

Cris Garcia Obituary, Death – We are writing to let you know that Cris Castillo Garcia, a member of our band family at Plano Senior High School who was in the 11th grade, passed away yesterday. He was loved very much by all of us. As we tell you terrible news, our hearts are heavy with the sorrow that we feel for you. We will get through this together as The Plano Band because we are a very large and wonderful family, and we will do it by providing the same kind of love and support to each other that Cris always exhibited to and for us on a daily basis.

This will allow us to get through this together. During stressful times such as these, children may have difficulty processing their feelings of loss or perplexity. They may require the opportunity to talk about how they are feeling and to be heard during these times. When students report back to school on January 4, there will be counselors and social workers there to support them as they attempt to come to terms with the terrible news that they have been hearing.

We ask that you have a conversation with your child in order to assist us in determining whether or not they could gain from the counseling services that will be provided. This is done to ensure that people who are in need, including those who might not actively seek assistance, have access to the support they require. The Journey of Hope Grief Support Center, which is one of our community groups and can be reached at 972-964-1600 or accessed online at www.johgriefsupport.org, is offering additional assistance throughout the holiday break.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact them. In the city of Plano, the location of the center is at 3900 W. 15th Street, Suite 306.
We are appreciative of your aid in resolving this sensitive issue, as well as your participation in conveying our sympathies to the Castillo Garcia family, and we thank you for both of these things.
