Those who were completely smitten with one another Bob recalled him as a gentle man who was overflowing to the brim with unrestrained and pure love for his family. He was a man with a kind heart, and Bob remembered him that way.
He was the kind of man who would help anyone in need. Bob was well-known for his laid-back demeanor and his humorous take on life in general. He had the ability to be charmingly off-kilter while at the same time being someone who could be counted on to provide insightful moments of information regarding life, family, or business. He had this ability because he was a genius. He had the appealing quality of being little off-kilter at times.
No matter where Bob and Bonnie moved, they were always able to keep the same core group of close friends with them. This was true no matter how many times they moved. They began their lives together in Barrington, where they were introduced to two other couples, the Molvars and the Blooms, with whom they went on to form lasting friendships and with whom they continued to spend a great deal of time traveling, dining, and having a good time over the course of many years.
Then, Bob moved to Padanaram, where he became a member of the New Bedford Yacht Club and the Wharf Rats, two groups that immediately recognized him as having an endearing sense of humor and an insatiable appetite for learning. After a while, Bob moved to the town of Padanaram, where he currently resides. After some time, Bob made the move to the community of Padanaram, which is where he has been living ever since.
Since Bob was born and raised in Auburn, Alabama, he naturally spent the majority of his childhood there. Bob’s family moved away when he was a teenager. He has maintained a tight relationship with his siblings Art, Mary, and Don throughout his whole life, and he found great satisfaction in spending time with them when he was younger. They would spend time together having fun on the family farm, going on bike rides, and participating in activities organized by the Boy Scouts.
It was a holiday that was celebrated by all four of them, and it was an occasion that brought together members of their families who lived in different parts of the country. Thanksgiving was one of those holidays.
Son of Arthur W. and Dorothy Summers Cooper, he is survived by his two sons, Benjamin Cooper and wife Jackie Delamatre and Samuel Cooper and partner Nicole Najafi, two granddaughters, Edie and Sunny Cooper, three siblings, Arthur Cooper and wife Julia Cooper, Mary Kitchen and husband Robert Kitchen, and Donald Cooper and wife Hyunchu Cooper, brother-in-law Mark Mintz, and a large number of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
