Mark Mcelrath Death, Obituary – has passed away untimely and unexpectedly friends, loved ones, family, and the entire community were heartbroken and in a grievance, according to social media. On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the age of 33, McElrath, Mark Alan Goodrich, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly. The cremation process has been completed. Emmanuel Church, located at 6434 Richfield Road, Flint, Michigan 48506, will play host to a Memorial Service on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 11 AM. Pastor John Scally will preside over the event. The family will be available to talk to guests from 4 to 8 PM. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the Allen Funeral Home, which is located at 9136 Davison Road in Davison, Michigan 48423.

A Memorial Fund bearing Mark’s name has been established for the purpose of providing for his children after his passing. On November 24, 2012, the ceremony took place in Goodrich, Michigan, and the bride was Sydney (Mahalak) McElrath. She is the daughter of Kevin and Brenda Mahalak. Mark has been a Special Agent for the United States Secret Service for the past six years, during which time he has been dedicated to serving his country. Mark was a person who seemed to loom larger than life, both literally and figuratively. He delighted in activities such as fishing, golfing, and simply hanging out with the family in the fresh air.

He had a magnetic personality, and despite his imposing stature, his fun-loving attitude and friendly smile drew others to him. This was despite the fact that he was quite tall. Mark was a leader, a hard worker, and a quietly strong and loyal friend. He had a good sense of humor as well. He placed a high value on being a devoted husband, an engaged father, working in a position that allowed him to serve his country, and living a life with the desire to know and follow the Lord as he went about his daily activities. Mark is survived by his wife, Sydney McElrath; his two children, Madelyn Avery McElrath (age 4) and Maximus Alan McElrath (age 1); his parents, Alan and Trisha McElrath; his brother, Nick McElrath; and a large number of other devoted family members and good friends. Mark passed away on April 15, 2019.
