Joy Quigley Obituary, Death – Joy Quigley Former Fresno Filmworks Film Festival Director has sadly passed away unexpectedly leaving loved ones and family in grief and agony. It was in the year 1955 when she and James Edward Hodges, the man who would eventually become her husband, exchanged their wedding vows with one another. This year is notable because it is commonly referred to as “her wedding year,” which is a reference to the fact that she got married in this year. Her maternal and paternal grandparents, two of her husbands (James Edward Hodges and Clayborne Quigley), and all three of her grandsons (Spencer Douglas Hodges, Lucas John Volker, and Jacob Michael Volker) all passed away before she did. Her maternal and paternal great-grandmother also passed away before she did. Her maternal and paternal great-grandmothers had both previously passed away prior to her own passing. Before she herself passed away, both of her maternal and paternal great-grandmothers had already crossed over to the other side.
