On April 10, 2016, at the age of seventy, Brian L. Gilhooly passed away while resting quietly in his sleep. He had lived a long life. He had been dealing with his illness for some time.

He has been observed by people for a significant amount of time. a cherished member of the family due to the countless beneficial contributions to the family he has made throughout his life in the roles of son, brother, uncle, and friend. These contributions span his whole life. He was an eager fan of golf, pool, and the New York Times crossword puzzles, all of which were published in that daily.

He was also an avid follower of crossword puzzles. In addition to that, he had a serious passion for all of the sports that were played at Notre Dame. Everyone who was in his immediate proximity came to admire and adore him as a result of his hilarious sense of humor and the fact that he was always willing to provide a helping hand to the people around him. In other words, he earned their respect and devotion. On Thursday, April 14, 2016, visiting hours will begin at 10 AM at the Kapala-Glodek-Malone Funeral Home, which can be found in New Hope at 7800 Bass Lake Road.
