Bernie Smith Obituary, Mosman Cricket Club President sadly died

Bernie Smith Death, Obituary – We would like to take this opportunity to offer our most sincere sympathies to everyone on the passing of Bernie Smith, who was a beloved member of our organization and served as President for many years. Bernie, who was 61 years old, passed away this morning in a peaceful and quiet manner, surrounded by his family and friends. He had been ill for some time. Our deepest sympathies go out to Helen, the departed’s wife, as well as to their three children, Patrick, Rebecca, and Martin.

Bernie has been an integral member of the Mosman Cricket Club for more than twenty years. His tenure there spans over two decades. The 1st grade team and the 2nd grade team both won their respective premierships during the 21/22 season as a direct result of his contributions to the expansion and improvement efforts of the club. Bernie made his way up through the ranks of the cricket club, holding practically every available post.

It has only been six years since he started his career at the MCC as the manager of the Green Shield, but in that time he has worked his way up through the ranks to become Secretary, Treasurer, and President of the organization. Bernie As the head of our group, you set an incredible standard for others to follow, and as a result, we all looked up to you and respected you. You will be sorely missed by everyone in the cricketing community, and they will think of you quite frequently.
