Maddie Johnson Obituary, Death – On Monday, December 12th, at the Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, a young girl by the name of Maddie Johnson, who had only 2 years and half of her life, departed this world. She was only 2 years and half of her life old. She had just turned 2.5 years old at the time. The memorial services are going to be held at the Granite Falls Lutheran Church on Saturday, December 17 at 10:30 in the morning. There has been no decision made regarding the time or date of the services as of yet.
At the Granite Falls Lutheran Church, visitation will begin on Friday evening from 5 to 7 pm, and it will continue at the same location on Saturday morning for one hour prior to the start of services. The visitation will end at 7 pm on Friday. Madeline Johnson entered the world on July 27, 2020 in the city of Granite Falls, Minnesota. Her doting parents, Kenton and Jessica (MacLeod) Johnson, were there to welcome their little girl into the world. In order for her to become a member of the Christian church, on August 16, 2020, she went through the rite of baptism at the Lutheran Church in Granite Falls. This ceremony took place at the Lutheran Church.
Madeline was only here on earth for a little over two and a half years, but in that short amount of time, she brought more happiness and light into the world than the vast majority of people do in their entire lifetimes combined. She had a big, beautiful, and contagious smile that could instantly brighten any room or anyone’s day! She was like a little ray of sunshine! She always showed such compassion and love, and for such a young age, she had a very sharp mind. The young girl, Maddie, displayed extraordinary maturity for her years.
She was the happiest child you could ever meet, and you could frequently find her singing, dancing, or marching around to the rhythm of her favorite songs. She was the child you would want to meet again and again. She was the kind of kid you’d want to hang out with over and over again. She is survived by her parents, Kenton and Jessica; her brother, Carter; her grandparents Charles and Cynthia MacLeod of Hampton Falls, New Hampshire and Dean and Jennifer Johnson of Watertown, South Dakota; aunts and uncles Cameron MacLeod, Matthew MacLeod, Melissa MacLeod, and Kirsten Tjosaas; cousins Kaiden and Mason Tjosaas; great grandparents Willis and Arlyss Johnson and Susan Wagstaff; and many extended family members and friends
