Maddie Hyatt Obituary, Death – Maddie Hyatt of London, UK, has reportedly died on December 13, 2022, untimely and unexpectedly leaving family and loved ones in agony and grief. She received her high school diploma from Chipley High School, which she had previously attended. She worked as an usher at the Vance Theater in Chipley while she was still a high school student there; the Vance Theater was also where she received her education. Soon after she graduated from her previous institution and received her diploma, she began working in the Guidance Department at TCCHS.
The majority of her career, which spanned a total of twenty years, was spent working in the Purchasing Department of the Leon County Board of Education. She held this position for the majority of her time there. Along with the rest of the congregation, Maddie was a member of the United Methodist Church that was located on Dawson Street. Her children and grandchildren grew up calling her “Memmy,” which was intended to be a term of endearment for her. She was the kind of person who loved unconditionally, right down to the core of her being, and gave without the slightest thought of getting anything in return.
The love that she passed down to our family and intended for all of us to experience is an invaluable inheritance for our family. Debbie Gay and Kim Lambert, both of whom are her daughters, are locals to the cities of Thomasville and Tallahassee, respectively.
In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren Edi Gay Morris (and her husband Robert), John Gay (and his wife Kathryn), and Eve Gay (and her husband Jhon); great-grandchildren Andrew Morris (and her husband Maddie), Loren Morris, Max Gay, Natalie Coggins (and her husband Nate), Luke Morris, Kimberly Morris, Emily Gay, John Daniel Gay, Molly Gay, Caroline Gay, and Avonle Gay; and great-great-grandchildren Andrew Morris (and her husband Mad Her sons-in-law, James Gay and Joseph Gay, her grandsons, James Gay and Joseph Gay, and her great-grandchild, Josiah Alvarez, all passed away before she did. Her sons-in-law Eddie Gay and Johnny Lambert, along with her grandchildren James Gay and Joseph Gay, all preceded her in death.
Her siblings were named Willie Lee Hodges, David Hyatt, Loyce Gurganious, Mary Munn Preston, and Ted Hyatt. Loyce Gurganious was also one of her siblings. Additionally, one of her siblings was named Loyce Gurganious.
