John Vogel Obituary, Death – John Vogel of Vancouver, CN, has sadly passed away unexpectedly leaving loved ones and family in grief and agony. John spent the next ten years of his life working for the Marketing Group at Southwestern Bell, which had only recently been established at the time John began his career there. During this time, he worked his way up through the management ranks, eventually becoming the Marketing Manager at the company’s headquarters in St. Louis, a position that he held for a total of three years. During this time, he worked his way up through the management ranks.
1979 was the year that he laid the groundwork for what would later become his company, Remax North Realtors, which he would go on to head as President and eventually purchase outright. John Vogel established the company that would later be known as The Vogel Group in 1987. John Vogel was the company’s founder. It was a commercial real estate marketing, consulting, and advertising firm that specialized in the development of marketing programs for more modestly sized businesses and manufacturers. Between the years 1987 and 1996, John held the position of Chief Executive Officer of the company.
In addition to that, he launched and managed a printing company known as Xspeedite Printing Services during this time period. This company served as a source of printing for jobs of a medium size for local businesses such as Diamond Shamrock, H-E-B, and the Alamo Bowl. As a consequence of this, he was offered the opportunity to serve on the Finance Committees of the organizations that were previously mentioned. In May of 1996, John made the decision to become more engaged in the activities of the commercial real estate industry.
This adjustment in John’s demeanor took immediate effect after it was made. He began his career in the industry as a Commercial Broker for Aequus Real Estate Services, then moved on to Grubb & Ellis as Vice President of the Industrial Services Group, then moved on to Kennedy-Wilson as Senior Director of Real Estate, and most recently became a Principal Partner and Broker at Henry S. Miller Commercial as well as a Board Member of CCIM. He is also on the board of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute (CCIM). In addition to that, he belongs to the CCIM as a member.
John not only had a successful career, but he was also actively involved in a number of significant associations throughout his life. These associations include serving as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Winston School of San Antonio, being the founding Vice President of the San Antonio Chapter of the American Marketing Association, serving as the Vice President of Finance for the San Antonio Divers, and being a coach for a variety of sports that are offered by the YMCA. All of these positions are currently held by the individual. John was also a member of the American Marketing Association (San Antonio Chapter), which he held membership in.
Prior to John’s passing, both of his parents, Henry Anton Vogel and Otelia Cecilia Dudek, had already passed away. Henry Anton Vogel and Otelia Cecilia Dudek The only members of John’s immediate family to have survived his passing are his wife Kathryn Vogel, his children John Henry Vogel Jr. Jack and wife Karen, Adam Vogel and wife Micaela, Shane Meyer and Amanda Meyer, and his grandchildren Aidan Elizabeth Vogel and John Henry Vogel, III. John’s wife Kathryn Vogel is also one of the people he will leave behind when he moves on.
He was courageous, funny, and extremely devoted to his family in addition to all of the other things he had accomplished in his life. He was thoughtful of those around him and had a wonderful sense of humor. In his efforts to provide for his family, he worked very hard and with great diligence. Even though we will miss him tremendously here on earth, we can take solace in the fact that he is now in the presence of God. Even though we will miss him so much, we can now be with God. Even though we will miss him tremendously here on earth, we will always cherish our memories of him.
