Bonnie Bodine Obituary, Death – Bonnie Jean Bodine of Utah, has reportedly died leaving family and loved ones in agony and grief, according to an online publication. “It wasn’t long after I got back to Taylorsville before I got the sad news that my Great Aunt Bonnie Jean Bodine, also known as my Grandma Ruth’s Sister, had passed away at the age of 88. The news came as a shock to me because I hadn’t seen her since she was a child. The upsetting information was given to me not long after I got back to my house. In terms of the entire family, Bonnie Cox was the 17th and youngest child, and she was also the youngest child on the Cox side of the family.
She was the only child of that family to survive into adulthood; all of her siblings had passed away when they were still young. Whenever I saw her, she appeared to be very content and brimming with life, and she had a smile plastered on her face the entire time. When I was a child and a teenager, she frequently reminded me of Ruth, who was my maternal grandmother. In 2017, while I was headlining at Jeptha Creed Distillery, Bonnie surprised me by showing up out of nowhere to catch me in the middle of my set.
That instant in time is one that will remain ingrained in my memory forever (see below). On that particular evening, she utterly and completely captivated everyone who was present!!! It has been wonderful having her here with us, and we are going to miss that. During this holiday season, we think of the family often and pray for them, sending them our best wishes and remembering them in our prayers. At the funeral that is going to take place the following week, Dad is going to serve as one of the pall bearers.
I am grateful to you, God.”
