Abigail was a member of the Godfrey family, which also included Thomas E. Godfrey Jr. and Nancy A. (Cain) Godfrey; she was their daughter. Her arrival into the world took place on June 12th, 2002 in the city of York. In the year 2020, along with the other students in her class at Dallastown Area High School, Abigail will receive her diploma and officially graduate from high school.
During the time that she was a member of the school band, she was very active in the band and took part in a number of different ensembles. Some of these ensembles include the Dallastown High School Drumline, the First Capital Drumline, and the York Youth Symphony. Abigail’s two favorite things to do in her spare time, when she was not working, were to volunteer at the Heavenly Paws Animal Shelter, where she worked, and to spend time with her cat, Romeo. When she was not working, she could be found doing either of these things.
After Abigail passed away, the organs that she donated were able to be transplanted into eight different people, allowing them to live. This was made possible by the organization Gift of Life. Her parents, Thomas E. Godfrey, Jr. and Nancy A. (Cain) Godfrey, as well as her three brothers, Christopher T. Godfrey, Derrick T. Godfrey (Emily), and Ethan J. Madison, as well as a niece, Harper L. Godfrey, a nephew, Landon J. Godfrey, and her beloved cat, Romeo, will carry on her legacy after she passes away. Everyone who loved Abigail will grieve her passing in their own unique ways. Abigail’s grandfather, Thomas E., was the person who passed away before she did.
