Vassilia Leonida Obituary, Death – The family has learned of the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Vassilia Leonida, and they are overcome with grief as they pass on this information to one another. Everyone cherished and adored her. The 18th of December in the year 2022 was the date that Vassilia passed away. The viewing will take place at the Acropolis Funeral Services establishment in Earlwood, which can be found at 253-255 Homer street, on Wednesday, the 28th of December 2022, at 5:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29, at 12:30 p.m. at the Resurrection of Christ Our Lady of the Myrtles and St. Elesa Greek Orthodox Church in Kogarah. The church can be found at 16-20 Belgrave Street. Following the conclusion of the memorial service, the burial will take place at the Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park, which can be found in Matraville at the address 12 Military Road. The congregation in the church will be informed of the particulars of the wake when they are announced there.
In place of the more traditional floral arrangements, the church will be collecting donations for the Alzheimer’s Association of Australia. During this difficult time, the family of Vassilia would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to their friends and family for the comforting words, expressions of sympathy, and condolences that they have received from those individuals.
