Richard Stimson Obituary, 82 -year-old Native of Tennessee, Tullahoma has died

 Richard Stimson Death, Obituary – Funeral services for Richard G. Stimson, who passed away at the age of 82 and was a former resident of Hanceville, will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 11:00 AM, with Pastor John Jankens serving as the officiant. Richard G. Stimson will be laid to rest there. Mr. Stimson’s parents, Glen and Dorothy Hoyt Stimson brought him into the world on August 13, 1940, in Anselma, Pennsylvania. Over the course of more than four decades, he was actively involved in the Hanceville community through both the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Hanceville Fire Department, where he held the position of Fire Chief for a number of years.

On December 18, 2022, he passed away in the comfort of his home in Tennessee. His maternal grandparents, Glen and Dorothy Stimson, as well as three brothers and one sister, all passed away before him. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Myra Stimson; his children, Shelley (Charles) Patton, Joan (Kevin) McCeary, and Richard (Kelly) Stimson, Jr.; his grandchildren, M. Curtis Doyle III, Jonothan Doyle, Rebecca Bingham, Brittany McCreary, Jessica Stinson, Jami Barnes, Forrest McCreary, and Olivia McCreary; and his nine great-grandchildren. memorial contributions to be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, which is located in Hanceville.
