Pearl Barbou Obituary, Pearl Barbou has passed away – Death

Pearl Barbou Death, Obituary – has passed away sadly and untimely which has left the family in serious grief and agony according to a social media publication.  On December 18, 2022, at the age of 94, Pearl Kathleen Barbour of Waterside passed away at the hands of medical professionals at the Moncton Hospital, with a close friend by her side. Pearl was a lifelong Waterside resident, having been born and raised there. She was reared by her grandparents, Howard and Bernice (Carnwath) Barbour, when her parents, Joseph and Angelina (Forsythe), passed away. Even though she was a senior, you’d never know it from the bounce in her step and the zest for life she exuded whenever you saw her. Pearl was a dedicated community member who offered her time with organizations as diverse as the Boy Scouts, the Ladies Auxiliary, and the Forest Dale Home.

All the while, Pearl had Dorothy Hoar at her side, who became her closest confidante and best friend. In particular, she loved spending time with her nephew Raymond, his wife Nancy, and their children on their frequent trips from Doris’s sister’s family. They paid Pearl numerous visits over the years, and she was always happy to see them. They have a lot of wonderful memories from that time that they will always hold dear. Doris Carpenter of Quispamsis and Hildreth “Bill” Barbour (Janet) of Ontario, her siblings, will miss her greatly. Several nieces, nephews, and friends, including her particular nephew Raymond Carpenter (Nancy), also survive her. On Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Reverend Peggy Reid will preside over a funeral service at the Albert County Funeral Home.

At a later time, the remains will be laid to rest in the Hopewell Cemetery in Hopewell Hill, New Brunswick. The family would like to extend their gratitude to her caretakers, Karen Blewett, Kelly Kennie, Colleen Gallagher, and friends Freda Kennie and James Lyman. Whom Pearl has greatly benefited from over the past few years.
