Michael Matsumoto Death, Obituary – It is with a heavy heart that we learned Michael Matsumoto, an actor at the Fixer Upper Television series has died sadly and unexpectedly leaving loved ones in pain, agony, and sadness. He attended the high school in St. Croix Falls, where he graduated with the class of 1981. Michael moved on to pursue a career in the baking industry after he graduated from high school and received his diploma.
During a good portion of his career, he worked at Napoleon’s bakery as a baker. Michael was also responsible for keeping the flower arrangements at the Dock CafĂ© in Stillwater, and in order to do so, he would get up at 6:30 every morning in order to water the plants. Michael’s responsibilities included maintaining the floral arrangements at the restaurant.
Michael first made the acquaintance of Gary in 1987, and ever since then, the two have been together as a couple. In order to make the yard look nicer, Michael grew petunia seeds and any other flower seeds from Seeds to Plants that he could get his hands on. The seeds were from the company Seeds to Plants. As a direct consequence of this, he established his garden in this location.
In the St. Croix Valley, Michael and Gary hosted a total of four different garden tours throughout the course of the summer. In addition to that, he invited Rebecca Kolls to his property so that she could photograph his flower beds for her publications. He did this so that she could use the images in her work.
Michael enjoyed taking care of plants and flowers, as well as baking and cooking, and spending time with his various pets. He also took delight in horticulture. In addition to that, he made wedding cakes for several of his relatives and friends. Gary’s family consists of his mother, Gerri Germain; brother Dale Germain and Partner (Paul Hermanson); sisters Shelly (Gary) Jessen and Debbie (Marty) Olson; and a large number of aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
Gary was named after his maternal grandmother, Gerri Germain. Michael is survived by his mother, Juanita Wente; his life partner, Gary Germain; his brothers Arlen (Kathy), Arnold, and Steve (Suzanne) Wente; his niece, Melanie Wente; and his nephew, Michael Wente Jr.
