Leon Salters Obituary, Leon Salters sadly passed away

Leon Salters Death, Obituary – Leon William Salters passed away on the 18th of December in the year 2022, having reached the age of 85. When he passed away, he was at his home on Horsehead lake where he had lived all his life. Leon was a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical technician in Meridian Township in addition to his work as a meat cutter for Okemos Meijers.

He held these positions for many years. Additionally, he worked for the township of Meridian. Later in life, he found employment at Lakeside Marina, which was also a place he frequently visited. The lone survivor of a family that had ten children and was originally from the town of St. Johns in the state of Michigan. In 2017, he lost Linda [Bradley] Salters, the woman he had been married to for 59 years and who had been the love of his life.

She was the most important thing to him. All three of Leon and Linda’s kids, namely Scott, Mark, and Mike, are the only surviving members of their family. They brought up their children in the Haslett community of Michigan, which is found within the boundaries of the state of Michigan. Even total strangers could count on Leon to strike up a discussion with them since he was the kind of person who would provide assistance to everybody and everyone.

Everyone considered Leon to be a friend or a buddy of sorts. It has been great having him here with us, and we are going to miss that. On December 22nd, at 11 o’clock in the morning, there will be funeral services held for the deceased at the Janowicz Funeral Home in Remus. There has been no decision made regarding the timing or date of the services as of yet.
