Jim McCoy Obituary, Death – Jim McCoy has reportedly died leaving family and loved ones in agony and grief, according to an online publication. “Jim McCoy, who resided in Opp and was 80 years old at the time of his passing on February 13, 2015, passed away. On September 12th, 1934, he entered the world in the town of Garrett, Maryland. Jim enlisted in the United States Air Force and completed his service with honor after serving in that capacity for a cumulative 23 years.

He was propelled toward success by a burning desire to realize his ambitions. Jim could be seen in the garage on a regular basis putting his woodworking skills to use on projects for his family, his friends, and his neighbors. When he had any free time, one of his favorite things to do was to read old western books. In terms of importance, Jim prioritized spending time with his family above anything else. When he was with his wife, his children, and especially his grandchildren, he felt the most content in his life.

Those hours spent together were very special to him. He is survived by his wife, Diane McCart McCoy of Opp, his son Jimmy McCoy and his wife Angie, his daughters Linda Kyser and husband Tim, Deborah Simmons, and Pam Strickland, his stepson Deeboy Ramer and his wife Amber, 11 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his stepson Deeboy Ramer and his wife Amber. In addition to his wife and stepson, he is survived by his wife Amber and stepson Deeboy Ramer.
