Hazel Deans obituary, Death – Hazel Deans has sadly passed away unexpectedly leaving loved ones and family in grief and agony. Hazel Daniel Deans fought the effects of aging for a long time, but on December 15, 2022, she succumbed to her illness and passed away at the age of 97. She was the sixth and final child to be born to Addie and Albert Daniel, both of whom had passed away prior to her birth.

She was the only child to survive her parents. Wilson, North Carolina is her hometown, where she spent her entire childhood. She was the widow of the late L.C. Deans Jr. and had been married to him for a long time. Her brothers Thomas Daniel and Archie Daniel, as well as her sisters Lillie Belle Daniel and Ethel Fulghum, all passed away before she did.

Her sister Annie Mae Daniel also died before she did. At the time of her graduation from Hardbarger’s Business College in Raleigh, North Carolina, she was presented with a diploma. In the beginning of her career, she worked for the State Capital Life Insurance Company in Raleigh, North Carolina, as well as the Branch Banking and Trust Company in Wilson. Both of these companies are located in Wilson. She loves experiencing new things by traveling.

She took her children on trips to more than 30 countries all over the world as well as to nearly all of the states in the United States. She was a longtime active member of First Presbyterian Church, where she was a communion steward, aided in the church office, and taught children’s Sunday school classes. Emily Innes, Candace Deans, and Amy Davis, all of Wake Forest, North Carolina, as well as Emily Innes’ husband Randy, also of Wake Forest, North Carolina, are the mother’s three surviving daughters.

Candace Deans lives in Richmond, Virginia, while Amy Davis lives in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Her great-grandchildren are named Rylee, Addie, and Dylan, and her grandson Daniel Davis and his wife Elizabeth are currently residing in Raleigh, North Carolina. Daniel Davis is her only grandson. In addition, she is very close to her niece and nephew, Al and Linda Daniel, who both reside in Wilson, North Carolina. Al is her very special nephew.
