Glenn Williamson Death, Obituary – On December 18, 2022, Glenn Lee Williamson, age 70, of Buffalo, who was born and raised in the Gabe Community in Green County, passed away at his residence. Glenn Lee Williamson was a native of the Gabe Community and was raised there. He had always called the Gabe Community his home. In addition to having worked as an insurance adjustor for Kentucky Farm Bureau in the past, he was a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, where he held positions as both a trustee and the cemetery sexton. During his time there, he was also involved in the community through the Boy Scouts of America.
Glenn Williamson outlived both of his parents, Robert and Mildred Smith Williamson, as well as one of his brothers, Bill Hardy. All three of Glenn’s siblings also predeceased him. Surviving him are his wife, Karen Wright Williamson; two sons, Andy Williamson of Smiths Grove and Eric Williamson of Hodgenville, both of whom are married to Allison; five grandchildren, Ava, Cade, Maddox, and Anna Kate; and a brother, Jerry Williamson of Bowling Green. On Wednesday, December 21, at 11 a.m., funeral services will be held at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, with the Reverend David Fortner officiating over the event.
Following the conclusion of the service, the interment will take place in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and will resume on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m.
