Christopher Edwards Death, Obituary – Christopher, also known as “Chris” Michael Edwards, who was 48 years old, lived in the town of North Matewan in the state of West Virginia. He was born to parents Andrew Michael Edwards and Judy Ann (Bishop), both of whom are still with us today. He was their son. On the morning of December 18, 2022, Christopher “Chris” Michael Edwards passed away in the comfort of his own home.
It was on April 6th, 1974 in South Williamson, Kentucky that he entered our world. His maternal grandparents, Herman and Gladys Bishop, as well as his paternal grandparents, Herbert and Mallie Edwards, as well as his special grandma, Greta Thompson, and an infant son, Caleb Edwards, had all passed away before he was born. Greta Thompson had been his special grandma.
Chris, who earned his degree from Marshall University, was a passionate supporter of the curriculum that was offered at Marshall University. He considered himself to be a Christian, and whenever he was able to, he would attend religious services. This brought him a great deal of joy. Chris valued his family—especially his children—above all else in the entire world. Priority number one on his to-do list was working hard to improve his chances of becoming the best father he could be. Everyone who was fortunate enough to have known and loved Chris will feel a deep sense of loss upon his passing.
Those who are left behind to remember Christopher Edwards include his parents, Mike and Judy Ann Edwards; his spouse, “Ginger” (Butcher) Edwards of North Matewan; their daughters Madison Edwards of Huntington, West Virginia, and Avonna Lopez of North Matewan, West Virginia; their sons Ethan Edwards, Jaxon Edwards, Keagen Edwards, and Jacob Lopez all of North Matewan, West Virginia; their brothers Thomas Michael Edwards and his wife Jennifer of Huntington, West Virginia
