Terry Gipson Death, Obituary – Mrs. Terry Gipson, who was 71 years old and lived in Lone Oak, will be laid to rest at Weiland Cemetery in Greenville on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 11 a.m. Bartley Funeral Home in Lone Oak will be in charge of the funeral arrangements for her. On December 17, 2022, Terry Josephine Drown Gipson passed away in the comfort of her own home. Her parents, Paul Madison and Betty Ann Strong Drown, gave birth to her in Dallas on January 1st, 1951.
Terry had been in Hunt County for the previous 29 years, where she was active in the community and served on the Lone Oak School Board. Her parents, an infant brother named Charles Paul, and a grandson named Gus Fry all passed away before she did. After the funeral that will be held at the graveyard on Tuesday, the family will have a meal for friends at Jack’s barn from noon to 2 in the afternoon.
Her survivors include her husband of 51 years, Jack Gipson of Lone Oak; two sons, Jeffrey Gipson and wife Kristen of New Mexico and Jacob Gipson and wife Amber of Dallas; daughter, Jennifer Fry and husband Micah of Lone Oak; two brothers, Paul Drown and wife Cheryl of Austin and Richard Drown and wife Penni of Emory; two sisters, Kelly Alamo and husband Gary of Colorado and Becky Cobb of Richardson; five grandchildren, Ava, Max, Olivia
