According to the state troopers who were contacted to investigate the missing, Susan C. Mills, 59, was the last person seen leaving her home on Halfway Road in Elbridge around noon on Monday.
The troopers were brought in to investigate the disappearance. According to the report, an incident report on her disappearance was filed with the state police on Wednesday. The New York State Police issued a press statement on Sunday indicating that search teams had retrieved the corpse of a female victim at Carpenter Falls in the town of Niles, which is situated in Cayuga County.
