Richard Howder Death, Obituary -We have to break the news to you with a sad heart that our grandfather, Richard Howder, who was loved by many people, has passed away. He will be greatly missed. Because he was such a kind and kind soul, his departure will be deeply mourned by everyone who had the privilege of calling him a friend. Richard Howder, who had been a resident of Rushville, New York, was found dead at his home on the 14th day of December in 2022.

Edward and Marion (Baton) Howder welcomed their son into the world on January 28th, 1941, in Brockport, New York. He was named after Marion (Baton), his mother. Richard Howder and Sylvia (Kerstetter) Howder were married on April 10, 1965, and the pair went on to have three children together: Cynthia Pickering, Richard Howder, Jr., and Tara Gaudette. Carini Excavating, where he worked as an operator of heavy equipment, would let him retire in the year 2020, marking the occasion of his retirement.

He put a lot of time and effort into his hobbies, which included fishing and hunting, and he was always tinkering with something. Richard is survived by his wife, Sylvia Howder; his grandkids, Erin (Stephen) Rouse, Amanda (Derek) Pickering, Andrew (April) Pickering, Ashley (Dustin) Kraus, and Jonathan Gaudette; and his seven great-grandchildren. Richard is also survived by his great-grandson, Jonathan Gaudette. Sylvia Howder, Richard’s wife, also survives him after his passing. Additionally, Sylvia is survived by all seven of Richard’s great-grandkids. His parents, Edward and Marion, as well as his children Cynthia, Richie Jr., and Tara, all went away before he did.
