Marie Edwards Death, Obituary – Marie Edwards has passed away sadly and untimely which has left the family in serious grief and agony according to a social media publication. ”Marie Edwards, who had reached the age of 58 at the time of her demise, passed away on December 15, 2022, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. At the time of her passing, she was a patient there.  She felt most at ease while she was in the Kentucky neighborhood of Somerset, which she regarded to be her home.

Marie Holloway Young was born to her parents, Eugene Holloway and Ruby Sluder Young, on October 26, 1964, in the city of Somerset, which is located in the state of Kentucky. More specifically, Somerset lies in the Somerset area. The woman who raised her was named Ruby Sluder Young, and her grandfather was named Eugene Holloway.  She worked at Comfort Keepers for a while and during that time, she put in several shifts at the facility where she was employed. Marie put a high value on being able to spend time with both her family and her friends. She saw this as one of the most important aspects of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Donnie Lee Edwards, whom she married on June 18, 2004, in Somerset; three sons; Tanner Guy of White Lily, Donnie Lee Edwards, Jr. of Letcher Co., and Chad Duane (Sunshine) Edwards of Science Hill; two daughters Amanda (Mark) Johnson of Somerset and Rachel (Michael) Rainwater of White Lily; and eight grandchildren; Alexis Weddle, Derek Edwards, Kaylee Ball, Karmen Ball

Marie’s adoptive parents, Pearlie and Joseph “Martin” Massey, together with her biological brother Gary Holloway and her nephew Joey Holloway, all predeceased her. Marie had one biological brother called Gary Holloway. Joey Holloway was Marie’s nephew. Marie’s in-laws were named Barbara Holloway and Connie Baldwin, and they were two of her sisters-in-law. Gary was Marie Holloway’s older brother and the eldest of her siblings.

Because both of Marie’s adoptive parents had moved away before she was born, she was placed with a new family as soon as she was brought into the world. Before she was born, both of her biological parents had already died away.”
